Hutchins among 20 leaders receiving inaugural DTC Perspectives Innovator Awards
CINCINNATI – PatientPoint® Chief Growth Officer Traver Hutchins has been named a top direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing innovator by DTC Perspectives. The award from the leading DTC advertising forum honors Hutchins for excellence in helping pharmaceutical and health and wellness brands promote life-saving products to consumers. This recognition of a PatientPoint executive is further confirmation of the company’s thought leadership in the patient engagement arena.
Hutchins joins 19 other visionary entrepreneurs, CEOs and marketers from renowned publishers and brands such as Twitter, TiVo and Hearst Magazines receiving inaugural DTC Innovator Awards. He will be honored tonight during a special reception at the DTC Forum on Social Media & Technology in Jersey City, NJ.
Over the course of his more than 25-year career as a health media executive and entrepreneur, Hutchins has consistently anticipated market changes and seized opportunities to help companies innovate and adapt. As PatientPoint Chief Growth Officer, Hutchins leads the company’s long-term growth plan and spearheads mergers and acquisitions and partnership efforts. He arrived in 2017 with a compelling entrepreneurial track record. In 1994, Hutchins founded Remedy Health Media (originally called MediZine), one of the first place-based consumer health media companies. In 2011 he developed and built an urgent care chain comprised of four centers and a team of 40 healthcare professionals.
Hutchins has also been on his own health journey, having been diagnosed with the blood cancer multiple myeloma in 2008. This experience has strengthened his belief in the power of PatientPoint to positively impact people’s lives, and Hutchins excels in his role as a result of his experience as both a POC innovator and a patient.
