Rex Daisey lives and breathes data.
As Vice President of Analytics & Insights, Rex is passionate about using data to solve problems. He knows a robust point-of-care program means nothing without meaningful ROI that can be measured and guaranteed.
But facts and figures are just the tip of the iceberg for Rex and his team. Working as trusted consultants to clients, collaborating with them to ensure internal alignment is gained on what should be measured and how, is what sets PatientPoint apart from the rest.
Each measurement strategy Rex and his team crafts is tailored to the client. With extensive physician matching capabilities and control measures, Rex and his team can clearly show the positive impact PatientPoint programs have on brands. In fact, PatientPoint delivers an average 12% NRx lift and 4.6 to 1 ROI for its clients.
“Our mission is to educate patients and give physicians the tools they need to have meaningful conversations at the point of care,” said Rex. “It’s easy to get behind that and feel rewarded knowing what you do benefits patients every day. We also have an incredibly diverse team here, which is truly inspiring and keeps our thinking fresh. Measurement is inherent to point of care. If it’s in a doctor’s office, you can measure it. And we do.”
Rex originally joined PatientPoint in 2005 as an analyst. After three promotions in eight years, he rose to the position of Senior Director of Analytics & Information, where he developed the company’s predictive modeling and scoring algorithms. He briefly left PatientPoint in 2013, but returned because he felt drawn to the company’s mission.
In his new role leading the Analytics & Insights team, Rex manages strategy, staffing, team coaching, budgeting and third-party contracts. He’s also charged with continuing to develop new and improved methods for analytics and insights for current PatientPoint products.
Even in his downtime, Rex can be found analyzing statistics for non-profit organizations to help them understand and address issues. Rex is also striving to reach new heights. As an avid rock climber, his bucket list includes traveling with his wife and son to Tasmania to scale Cape Pillar, a massive cliff on the Tasman Peninsula’s coastline. When there aren’t mountains to climb, Rex enjoys cycling and is working on his annual goal to complete a 100K bike ride.
