True of any well-accomplished executive, Terry Wall is all about making connections.
As Senior Vice President of Local Client Solutions, Terry helps connect patients and healthcare providers with local healthcare organizations offering the products and services they need. He and his team, which spans across the country, partner with health facilities and outpatient care providers that are local to each hospital in the PatientPoint network to create personalized materials patients can use to navigate their hospital stay and the post-care process.
For Terry, his leadership role at PatientPoint has combined his passions for both healthcare and technology. A self-described “tech-junkie,” he is drawn to how digital engagement solutions can help connect sponsors, physicians and patients. A current focus of his is educating local healthcare organizations about PatientPoint online solutions, which can boost their online presence and help them better engage with the patients who need their services most.
This is what Terry is most proud of: Expanding the resources featured in PatientPoint programs beyond national organizations to also include local facilities people can connect with closer to home. “Building valuable relationships is about putting your customers’ needs first and being humble throughout the process,” Terry says. “It’s not about you or the sale—it’s about helping your customers succeed by finding the right solutions that fit their overall goals and the patients’ needs.”
Healthcare is part of Terry’s DNA. His family has a long history in medicine—his father, grandfather and great-grandfather were all physicians. Although Terry chose business school over medical school, his deep connection with the industry makes PatientPoint an ideal company with which he can make his own mark on the industry.
Outside of work, Terry and his wife spend their time chasing their seven kids and attending sports games, music lessons and a myriad of other activities. But in the future, Terry hopes to travel more. Next up on his bucket list? The Mediterranean.
