New CEO Mike Collette Brings Innovative Spirit to PatientPoint

Noted entrepreneur returns to helm of leading patient engagement company

CINCINNATI—PatientPoint®, the trusted leader in patient and physician education and engagement at the point of care, has welcomed back entrepreneur Mike Collette as the company’s CEO. Collette, who founded the company and served as its CEO until 2012, returns to PatientPoint at a time when the point-of-care industry is seeing tremendous growth through technological innovation.

“In today’s digital world, the point of care is no longer restricted to just waiting and exam rooms,” Collette said. “By continually enhancing and innovating digital and mobile solutions, PatientPoint is leading the charge in improving the relationship and dialogue between patients and physicians, resulting in better outcomes for all.”

Collette was a pioneer in aperture marketing, a predecessor to point of care, when he co-founded On Target Media, an innovative marketing company developing customized promotions and programs for leading marketers in the CPG industry. In 2001, Collette founded Healthy Advice Networks (which would later become PatientPoint) to meet the ever-changing and growing needs of pharma and served as the company’s CEO until 2012.

From 2012-2016, Collette remained active with PatientPoint through his role as chairman of the board. He was integral in the company’s growth by steering the M&A and innovation strategy, resulting in many new digital solutions, including PatientPoint Interact—a digital touch screen for exam rooms—and the new physician-facing mobile app, PatientPoint 360°.

Collette has also served as executive-in-residence at CincyTech USA since 2012, helping other entrepreneurs turn transformational ideas into high-growth technology companies. He will continue in this role as mentor to entrepreneurs and plans to connect PatientPoint with some of these tech startups.
