Martini's vision cited as key factor in PM360 honor

June 22, 2016

CINCINNATI — Chris Martini, president, hospital solutions & chief provider officer for PatientPoint, has been named a Transformational Leader by PM360 in the publication's second annual ELITE 100. Martini will be honored at a special ceremony on July 12 at The Top of The Standard Hotel in Manhattan.

The ELITE 100 recognizes those who are "Exceptional Leaders, Innovators, Transformers, and Entrepreneurs" in the pharmaceutical marketing arena. According to PM360, “these 100 individuals and marketing teams represent some of the smartest and most accomplished members of our industry. They have helped to shape the industry as we know it today and they are the ones responsible for determining its future.”

Martini was specifically recognized for his vision of establishing and growing the PatientPoint hospital and provider solutions business. Martini launched this division of the business in 2008 and has more than tripled its reach to 750 hospitals in the past eight years.

"We see the impact of Chris' work every day at PatientPoint, but more importantly, his vision has truly changed the way hospitals and physicians communicate with their patients at the point of care," said Tom McGuinness, chief executive officer, PatientPoint. "We are extremely proud of Chris for this honor as a PM360 ELITE Transformational Leader and for advancing our company's leadership in patient education and engagement."

In addition to the hospital solutions business, PM360 also cited Martini's role in developing the go-to-market strategy for PatientPoint Access—Oncology, a back office physician medical news program for oncologists, and PatientPoint Interact, an interactive exam room touchscreen solution that allows physicians and patients to easily explore a condition or treatment together through videos and 3D anatomicals, revolutionizing the point-of-care industry.
