Survey Says: 95% of Physicians Leveraging Patient Engagement Tech

Doctors and technology

In partnership with Digital Health Coalition, we recently asked 206 physicians about their attitudes and behaviors regarding emerging patient engagement technology—how they’re using it, what they expect to see in the future and the benefits they hope to gain from it.

Nearly all (95%) of our respondents reported using some form of technology, and top benefits of such technology included better patient conversations, giving patients more complete information about treatment options and modernizing their exam rooms (goodbye, posters & models!)

Of note, nearly three-quarters of respondents were also comfortable with advertising appearing alongside targeted, tailored engagement technology in their practice or hospital.

Check out the infographic below for some key findings from our results, and download our eBook: Physicians’ Perspectives on Patient Engagement Technology (and Pharma’s Role in It) for more in-depth analysis.
